Michelle Keegan, 30, has revealed her weight loss diet tips to celebrate the launch of her sportswear collection with Very.
The former Coronation Street actress, known for playing Tina McIntyre on the ITV drama, is also known for her marriage to former The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright.
Now the Stockport born actress has shared her exercise plan and diet tips.
The Tina and Bobby star work out three times a week, but avoids cardio and enjoys a Chinese take away on the weekend.
Michelle Keegan’s diet
Michelle has banned red meat from her diet and has cut down on dairy.
She said: “When it comes to diet I believe in everything in moderation.
“I don’t eat red meat and at the moment I am trying to cut down the amount of diary I have but I don’t believe in beating yourself up or stopping yourself having anything you really want.”
She also avoids carbs late at night, as well as when she is preparing for a photoshoot.
However, she added: “One of my favourite foods is cheese and I love having a Chinese on a Saturday night.
“I think it is healthy to have a relaxed approach and balanced outlook.”
Michelle Keegan’s exercise plan
“I try and exercise on average about three times a week but this can vary depending on my work schedule,” she said.
“I really believe in living a balanced life so I don’t beat myself up if I don’t make it to the gym.”
“My routine in the gym is usually a twenty minute HIIT work out, I like The Body Coach workouts, followed by a weight session.
“I really don’t enjoy cardio – just running on a treadmill doesn’t appeal to me.
“I mix up my weight training focusing on legs in one session, arms in the next and then core giving me a full body work out across the week.”
From one TV star to another, Holly Willoughby’s weight loss over the years has caused much speculation. How has she done it?
